Who We Are
Christy Anderson
My work experience includes working with both adults and adolescents. I not only provide addiction evaluations, individual and group counseling, but I also help involve family members in the recovery process and offer family sessions. I also have extensive experience working with individuals that are involved with the legal system and so I understand the importance of taking a systems approach when it comes to addiction services and involving the appropriate parties in a person’s life. I incorporate therapeutic approaches that include Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and CBT to name a few. But mostly, I incorporate my understanding of Stages of Change into my daily practice. I believe in helping individuals create a personalized recovery plan and I help guide them towards a life filled with more peace, serenity, and hope.

LPCC-Mental Health Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and I enjoy helping individuals experience personal growth and receive the benefits from the healing process. I help individuals address mental health concerns that include anxiety, mood issues, grief, trauma, and other life stressors. I also have experience in integrating mental health services with addiction treatment, in which I believe it is important to recognize the co-occurrence of other disorders and the simultaneous treatment when addressing addiction. I utilize a number of therapeutic approaches- including EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered to name a few. I recognize how our adverse life experiences impacts the choices we make today and so I help guide individuals using a trauma-focused approach. It is never too late to heal, to feel better & to find personal happiness.
